MIT Spectrum
Spectrum is a bi-annual publication sent out by the resource development department to the MIT community. The beautifully oversized print magazine is designed in partnership with the Stoltze Design Group, and the online presence is managed by the MIT in-house design and digital teams. My involvement spanned from art directing photoshoots around the globe to creating custom data visualizations in collaboration with MIT faculty and students - it was an honor!
Recognition: UCDA Excellence Award

Each issue required finding, hiring, and directing illustrators, photographers, and external vendors. I’ve had the pleasure of art directing photoshoots globally for MIT faculty, students, donors, events, tech, and more.

Being able to jump into each issue of Spectrum as a contributing illustrator, designer and photographer was always a wonderful experience. There were a handful of data visualizations that I worked directly with MIT faculty, students and the Spectrum team to concept and illustrate.
